No one wants pain and suffering in this world, so why give it?

Vegetarian food is food for the soul! It’s energizing, revitalizing, nourishing and delicious!

All our traditional Indian sweets and savouries like Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, Dosa, Vada, Idli, Paneer Tikka, Jalebi and Rabri, Rasgulla, Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai, Kheer, Halwa and many more are all pure vegetarian dishes that all of us love right till the very last bite! People all over the world today are coming up with more and more interesting and exciting vegetarian dishes to tingle and tantalize your tastebuds and leave you wanting for more!

With innumerable moral, environmental and health benefits, I don’t see any reason why anyone would refuse to adopt the vegetarian way of life! I can quote the example of many of my school friends who inspite of their families eating non-veg food have turned a new leaf and followed and continue to follow vegetarianism. Their firm resolve has even led to their families to go vegetarian forever!

If you love animals called pets, why do you show no feelings towards animals called ‘dinner’?! If you who think that eating non-veg would make you as strong as an ox, then remember, even the ox eats only grass! If you say today that the Earth’s ecosystem is on the brink of collapse, then why do the same you take away innumerable innocent lives which play a pivotal role in maintaining the Earth s ecological balance?!

These are some of the questions which each one of us must deeply ponder upon, introspect, realise and review to understand that we were all created with a purpose: ‘To foster life by spreading happiness and love!’; ‘To Live and Let Live!’. And today, we all have one main mission to save our mother Earth! Lives are being lost, water, air and soil are being polluted, resources are getting exhausted and what not is happening today!

Killing of animals always involves inevitable consequences of pain and suffering, something we would never like to inflict upon ourselves. Whether we believe or not, ‘law of karma’ is the very basis of this creation and life always bestows upon us what we deserve, positive actions will give positive results and negative actions negative results. This is the cosmic principle of fair justice and it links us all in every sphere and mind it, no actions go unanswered!

It is imperative to change our outlook towards life and understand the meaning of our existence! Our soul is the purest form of all of us and is an embodiment of love, knowledge, happiness and righteousness! By taking the lives of our animal friends, endangering our lives and harming the Earth, we are draping our souls with the shroud of darkness…darkness from which there is no escape…

So, Go Vegetarian! Go Green!
